Yos Gladstone

Yos worked as a saltwater guide at Sportsman’s Lodge in Rivers Inlet before refining his guiding skills for the rivers and lakes in the Whistler area four years ago. He grew up on the other side of the mountains in the rustic mining town of Gold Bridge 1.5 hours north of Whistler but moved to the city getting his start in the flyfishing industry working in Ruddick’s Fly Shop in downtown Vancouver. Primarily a Trout fisherman, he has fished many of the best Trout waters in Utah, California, Colorado, Idaho and Montana as well as here in BC. Yos is a very busy guy-he guides four days a week, works as an on-call fireman and as a doorman at a local bar. Known for his ability to keep his clients laughing he is a very effective flyfisherman as well, his knowledge of Trout and Char keep his catch rates among the highest of any Whistler guide. Spending a day with the quick witted Mr. Gladstone is sure to be both an entertaining and educational experience for anglers of all skill levels.
