Yos grew up in the small town of Gold Bridge, just a short distance north of Whistler. As such he is very familiar with the area and knows the local waters better than most. Yos has over ten years of guiding experience including nine years guiding the rivers and lakes around Whistler. He has also spent a considerable amount of time guiding at some of the finest lodges on BC’s coast. In recent years the summer months have been spent on Langara Island entertaining guests with his unique sense of humour and Chinook Salmon catching skills. Yos has been lucky enough to fish around the world including trips to Australia, Ireland, Denmark, South Africa and throughout the best trout waters of the western US. It is this vast experience combined with his infectious personality that makes a day with him such a treat.
